The iPad is Here? Are You Excited, or Not So Much?
So I have been following the Apple iPad coverage very closely today, and I hung on Steve Jobs' (on those other people's) every words with bated breath... OMG is this going to elminate laptops, is this going to be the next big thing... then came the tweets. But a lot of them were kind of disappointed, and then it hit me. This thing isn't that great... at least in my opinion. No camera, no multi-tasking, you can't use your iPhone number with it, no HD video out. I mean really... I have a ton of resources from around the net for your guys to check out, get well informed, and make your own decision, let me know what you think! (LOTS more after the jump)

176 Mograph & VFX Tutorials OMGWTF!!!
Wow... since the redesign along with everything else going on in life... it looks like the tutorial scene really took off in the last month. We got 176 tutorials, a free 3ds Max plugin, and Nick Campbell's new Five Second Project theme with prizes from my homies over at VideoHive.net. This is the largest roundup I have ever done... and after around 8 hours, and revisiting this article quite a few times during the last week... it's finally done! So enjoy... and go learn!

Couple NewFound Tut Sites…
I’m a big fan of the color grading process. Not to sound too cheesy, but even a simple color correction can take your ordinary images and make them extraordinary. In the olden days, this process was done in the lab, performed by a color timer, and many of the color effects were chemical.
