I can't say I'm especially impressed by a flip out screen. It would have to be other features that would sell me on it.

I like the 60D so far. We'll see how it holds up when it's released. I think the only thing that's noticeably better to consumers, is the flip-out LCD screen, and the better body build. That's it's key selling point. But, "Is that enough?" Only time will tell.

I don't think I'll order one quite yet. I'll wait until I read some IN-DEPTH reviews.

you see, I don't know... I mean, Zacuto stuff helps you focus in really nicely, but if you are in a situation where you are using the flip screen... it might be hard to pull focus yourself, without those tools.

I do admit that I think I probably would have gotten this over the T2i, just because it IS a pain when it comes monitoring stuff. But if that is your only screen you should have an external monitor anyways..

There are so many sides to this... thanks for your input!

I think that flip out screen is gonna be the winning factor.
5D MK2, 550D, 7D all have the serious ergonomic issues for videographers outta of the box. The only way to get rid of them, has always been to buy extra accessories (zacuto, red rock etc) which could run you a couple of hundreds of dollars more.
Now, The 60D sweetly bridges that gap and saves u investing right away on other accessories (at least for the time being).
60D is Winner!

Jorge,
First let me say it takes a lot to admit you were wrong. Good for you. I don't speak for all tutorial creators, but for me, at least, I WANT you to recreate the effect I am teaching. You will learn so much more from actually going through the steps than simply watching the tutorial. Especially as a new AE user. But then, take the concepts and either build on the project or make something new using the tips and techniques. The main point is, if you are going to use a tutorial and post the output, at least credit the source. And whatever you do, dont put that on your reel as your work. That can get you into hot water. You would be surprised at who watches online tutorials. Keep learning and come up with your own style and look.
